I was always really interested in medical field, but I could not stand blood and needles... I also was petrified of dentists and any dental treatment. So I decided that dental hygiene would be a good career for me :)
Little did I know how much blood would be involved in general prophylaxis! Today I am starting the second month of 2nd year of dental hygiene school. I still do not know whether it is the right field for me or not, but I do want to graduate and at least have an associate degree in something that can make me a living.
Dental hygiene schools are very intense. This semester I am taking 22 credits, have lots of homework and working part-time. I really should not complain, because I made it through the first year :)
